The Israeli government doesn’t subsidize trips for Jews to Israel, the American taxpayer does.
Worked for two Jewish guys years ago. Very cool dudes and when one got married me and my brother were invited to the black tie affair. We’re black men and at the wedding reception i couldn’t keep count of the amount of times older Jewish people came up to us thinking we were the staff. It got so bad and uncomfortable that we left early. Later the boss apologized repeatedly. Then me and this same boss’s sister started a physical relationship (meet ups to smash) and she said she wished we could be serious and didn’t have to hide but that couldn’t be because i was black. I’ve experienced the racism from the Jewish community that in the West you can’t even mention. The narrative has been what a great ally the Jewish community has been to the black community. In all walks of life there are good people and bad people including the Jewish community but they don’t come under scrutiny for anything negative.
I Jewish people are not violent. They will protect all there. You start it here you won’t believe what is going to happen. Good luck.
Not sure I get this. I am whiter, and once I went to a church to join the choir. I was there for a month and was treated like a complete stranger the entire time. I finally left that church and became agnostic. The point is that humans are for the most part tribal, and will act that way in most venues. Don’t like it? Move on!!!
I am extremely disappointed you would state this! If you learned ANYTHING, which you should have whether it is the Jewish, Christian, or Catholic faiths, it’s God FIRST and foremost ALWAYS! Not all churches are right for everyone. You search out the church, with God’s help, to find a place that does work where you can HEAR God best INCLUDING those that SHOW they are people of faith growing in God’s word not a membership club!!

I FIRMLY believe and have for sixty years and first hand seen God’s miracles happen for desperation for jobs coming through, surgeries that actually saved people in spite of doctors saying it wouldn’t help, including many other divine interventions. I and my family have had the worst of times but God has NEVER left our side, EVER! God saved me alone in a head on collision that should have taken my life after seeing the car first hand! If you give up because of mortal man acting up that is on you not the church!
It is YOUR responsibility to have the relationship with God and to ensure you keep that faith strong not only on a personal basis but your church family!
There are plenty of churches and synagogues out there to find the right fit. Church is for the broken NOT the perfect! I hope you’ll reconsider it because it is NOT worth the end result once you pass, and we all do, which I know you know that much.

The most wonderful people I know are a husband and wife from Guatemala. They have only goodness in their hearts and it is to all people. They both became clergy (after several years of hard study) done after long days of work. They have two wonderful daughters with families of their own.
Their church is a non denominational church with latino, black and white parishioners in about equal numbers. I attended several services at their evangelical church and the services were filled with love, brotherhood, kindness, and joy to other members and to visitors.
it is not a poor congregation nor is it a financially wealthy congregation but it is a congregation rich in love for all and an absolute joy to see and participate in.
