I retired from a 27-year career in law enforcement. I was a patrol officer/supervisor/instructor/field training officer. We had female officers who failed the academy and were pushed through. They then failed FTO and were pushed through. They were a danger/liability to themselves, other officers, and the public so were then promoted to get them off the street. One of them became a Captain who had to have a private pistol qualification every quarter so nobody saw how incompetent she was. That was when I chose to retire early in 2021.

Too much of this DEI. We have women firefighters who can’t pull their weight, so they dumb down the tests. and it’s not only women. Years ago, you had to pass the civil servant test, but what happened, you credit for being former military and that was OK, but then they gave you 10 points for being black, then 10 more points if you were a woman. Can’t read or write but you got points. What good is that when lives are on the line, and you can’t get a person out of a burning building or shoot the bad guy!
Some jobs are just better left to the more physically capable. Women make outstanding fighter pilots. They can also serve in combat front lines. But when a 125 pound female is required to pull a 200 pound male from a burning building who is laden down with 90 pounds of equipment (290 pounds total) it’s not going to happen.
This is how feminists lying about women’s ability ends up.
We are always reducing the requirements for women. The result is incompetence. Incompetence that I dangers everyone.
