The Christian audience gave the stripper the benefit of any doubt, and a chance to be honorable and respectful to God and His church members. But, the very second the stripper began his stripping act, the entire audience should have just stood up and walked out…. period.
Pastor Mark Driscoll was doing exactly what God expected him to do, and it was needed to be done right then and there, immediately, just like Jesus did with the money changers in the temple. It took courage, obedience to God, respect for God, and loyalty to God, and to the church family and what it stands for. We should be applauding him.
This isn’t true. Listen on Facebook to Pastor Lindell’s in-depth talk to his church Wednesday night, outlining minute by minute what happened. Mark has sent bizarre texts to Lindell sons and Pastor Lindell had to contact Christian ministers for intervention. Jimmy Evans, Driscoll’s long-term mentor, watched the video then told Mark he had to repent. And he did not. I think he has deep issues that surface under the guise of needing attention.
