Washington D.C. is NOT a state and should NEVER be a state. It is a city where the statistics have been fudged for the last 5 years. Crime is down except when you look at the definitions for these violent crimes. They have changed the definitions and they aren’t the same as for any other place, so the “statistics” are just as false as the definitions.
