It is really hard to force someone to buy something that doesn’t work for them and costs more than they can afford.
In California, they just noticed that EV chargers are NOT paying Road Taxes and other cash burdens associated with Gasoline. The state now demands that Gasoline purchases include a “fine” to cover the lack of revenue due to EV’s! This is a ripoff! The power grid in California cannot sustain EV power consumption, but the press has pretended this problem does not exist.

In keeping with the Democrat Party logo, the jackass; it has been totally asinine of the federal government to try to force this only intermittently successful technology upon America. EV’s are extremely expensive to buy, to operate, to repair, and to not contribute in road use taxes on fuel. This technology has a vast amount of improvement NEEDED; before it should be replacing fossil fuel usage. Even providing the amount of electricity necessary for charging these vehicles is a mammoth problem for our national electric grid.
People are finally realizing what I’ve known all along, because I do my research. Solar & wind are not reliable, & do overall harm to the environment, more than they help, @ least in their current state of development. Components used in solar & wind energy are expensive; are life limited; & don’t lend themselves to recycling. EV’s are much more expensive to buy & repair; the batteries come from China, who wants to bury us; they have very limited range; it’s hard to find chargers, when you need one; charging takes too long; the electrical
grid capability is inadequate; battery replacement is prohibitively expensive; & range is greatly affected by hot or cold temperatures. I’m not against alternative sources of energy, or transportation; but changes take time; & can not be made to happen immediately just because the ruling elite want it to.
Notice the ruling elite don’t use these piles of shit called EVs unless it’s for show in front of the camera. Their real vehicles are big fat limos with the biggest gas guzzling engines made.
