Pop singer Pink announced last week that she was giving out books that are supposedly “banned in Florida” at her Florida concerts. However, every book she mentioned isn’t banned at all. Not only are these books not banned, but some of them are also on Florida’s recommended reading list. Let’s talk about it.

The Comments Section with Brett Cooper discusses this in the youtube video below:

Technically, Florida isn’t banning books, they’re restricting access to these books by children. You can totally get these books in Florida if your older than 18, I believe.
Saying any book is banned would be like saying R rated movies are banned.

I used to love Pink and went to two of her concerts… until she told all pro-lifers to never listen to her music again (via Twitter, 6/25/22). I’ve done what she has asked me to do and have not listened to her music since then.
You would think that you would WANT to use your platform to talk to people who disagree with you, hoping that maybe you’ll change their minds. But nope, she just wants to perform in an echo chamber. Who am I to stand in her way?

  1. Another person, who is a legend in their own mind; & who thinks she is the voice of intelligence, that everyone should listen to. In reality she is delusional; as is anyone who looks up to her. You don’t have to be intelligent to be famous.
