They have judges who determine who’s eligible or not in Pa. I was denied, simply because my attorney listed me as V.P. without explaining the title was given because our family owned business was run as an LLP. (limited liability partnership) This is mandatory to have officers appointed to have a Partnership. After going in front of the judge he asked me this, why can’t you sit behind a desk to do your work as a V.P.? I explained the circumstances to him, he banged his gavel and said this man should have been rewarded SSD for the last 33 months and it will begin in Nov. 2016 along with backpay when he first applied, hearing over. Then he said to my attorney, I want to speak with you in my chambers. Never did find out what they talked about, but I have a good idea!
