I am an immigrant from Pakistan. It took me 8 years to go through the legal process to get here, and an additional 5 years to become a citizen. I love America. I used to be a Democrat—I voted for Bush, Obama, and Biden, and I hated Trump because the media portrayed him as a monster. I am ashamed that I ever supported Democrats.
