For starters, that dingbat lied about Texas. People who have been convicted of domestic violence–even as a misdemeanor–can’t own guns. That’s been federal law for decades. No state can overrule that.
What Texas did was to eliminate the requirement that people who are ACCUSED of domestic violence lose their gun rights. Big difference.
