i think truth has come to light. When some men abuse women, the abuse may stay a secret for a while. God has given women the power to stay strong and advocate for the fairness for women to be respected. There are different perceptions of this lady who came out vigilant to protect her right as a woman. i am grateful to my mother who have taught me assertiveness and never get scared to speak up when any abuser of any GENDER, man or woman or anybody with higher authority. I WAS INSULTED by surgeons and chief of surgery thinking that I am an ordinary staff nurse, but I stood my ground. A SURGEON insulted me on my first few minutes at work then reported me to the supervisor and found out that I KNEW what I was supposed to do. I was blessed e gave me a $100.00 check and thanked me for helping him maintain a good practice after our first encounter. My boss told him that I needed to be commended as I have the courage to help him maintain a good practice. What a blessing to be given a check on my first day of work. After the incident, he requested that I will assist him whenever he had to do surgery or attend to his scrub nurse. HE shared his experience with other surgeons that I became a choice for others to have me around. This is only one example on how standing for what is right pays a lot of dividends.
