Volodymyr Zelenskyy is adored by his people and was ready to run for election but was told by almost all of the leaders that you do not change leaders in the middle of a war, which is true. He speaks to the people every single evening on a nightly broadcast. He visits the troops on the front lines to give them awards and boosts their morale. He is attacking corruption which has rattled some, but that is only that he may be exposing them. He was pilloried when he banned and deported the Russian Orthodox priests until the people learned that they were passing information to the Russian military about troop movements, As soon as they were gone, Ukraine started winning their battles. It is a war and the Ukrainian people are fighting for their very lives. I am grateful that they have President Zelenskyy as their leader.
