As someone who grew up around farms, atrazine, glyphosate, paraquat, 24d etc all these chemicals are extremely potent and detrimental to ecosystems and certainly explains the rise in cancer since the 70s

We are in a bad spot. The most effective weed poisons damage more than the weeds. With weeds and other vegetation intruding on our ability to feed all of the people we do now. Insect damages to growing food crops also has to be addressed. It appears that most “organic” foods have a high mortality rate due to lack of protection from natural diseases, microbes and insect damage. There are “natural” options that partly mitigate these problems. I tried some of the natural solutions a couple of years. There was still a major loss of food in my gardens. I am at a loss of solutions for growing varied food crops using no pesticides.
Some insects seem to be getting “used to” insecticides as well. I really hope that real answers can be found. The natural law of all living things is “adapt or die”.
