July 5, 2023 will mark two years of sobriety for me. I poured out the booze because unlike Candace, I am an alcoholic. Hearing you read this article brought me to tears. The Spirit is quiet but consistent. When you stand still enough to hear it, it’s power radiates and the sound echos. I’m so glad I heard it when I did. It took me many attempts and a lot of hard times to get to this point. Thank you for sharing your story.

My mother was an alcoholic, as was her father. I made it well into my 40’s thinking I was better, stronger than either of them and didn’t need alcohol. I saw the damage it did and was determined not to put my daughter through that hell. Well….the beginning of the pandemic kinda broke me. I went from zero to half a bottle of red wine/day. How strange I watch your video about alcohol less than an hour after I was contemplating pouring my wine out. Wish me luck.
