Didn`t even ask Biden about economic achievements. He runs our country into the ditch. Trump hasn`t even been in office for 90 days. I am hoping the next thing Trump does is put an end to food stamps and welfare.
Some people are down on their luck but it should be for temporary relief, not a lifetime. Having a baby every year just to collect more welfare is totally wrong. There is such a thing as birth control (not abortion). Collecting welfare instead of working is wrong. One must be eligible for employment or already working. There should be proof that one is seeking employment on a weekly basis, just like unemployment benefits. Weekly drug testing should be mandatory. Most definitely, non-citizens should be denied benefits. Food stamps should be for nutritious food, not junk food – it already can’t be used for cigarettes or alcohol. If caught trying to sell food stamps, it is an automatic suspension of benefits. A periodic, unannounced visit from a social worker should be mandatory. They need to change the system, not eliminate it.
