Now to get Congress to write it into law as the official language of the USA. It always irked me that election ballots are printed in many different languages in the U.S.. Why? To qualify as a naturalized American citizen, a person has to be able to read, speak and write in English — so why are people voting in American elections that can’t read English? If they can’t read English, they must not be legal American citizens.
I’m in my 70’s and I remember way back when that I had neighborhood friends that when their parents immigrated here that they demanded that their kids learn to speak English. No such respect today from immigrants going around speaking like a bunch of chipmunks
